git_get_and_build??

i'm using the old-build-screipt. I installed git-2.5.0 from a source tarball.
bootstraping went fine, now I just need to run "gtk-osx-build build core", but when I run that it I get-
Done bootstrapping. Continue with "build" or "shell".

Building core modules.
/gtk-osx-build: line 385: git_get_and_build: command not found
What do I do?
